Prices are per 1000 bricks or per cubic of aggregate. Delivery is quoted separately based on your location.
Both products are sold by the cubic metre, so the number that matters is the volume of your pour. Give us the dimensions and we will tell you how many cubics to order.
The hard aggregate for concrete: slab foundations, footings, columns, hardstanding and driveways. Crushed and graded to 3/4 inch so the mix is predictable.
The fine aggregate for plastering, mortar and blockwork. Washing takes the clay and silt out, which is the difference between mortar that bonds and mortar that cracks later.
3/4 stones from $19 per cubic and washed river sand from $20 per cubic. Delivery is quoted separately based on your location and how close the tipper can get to the pour.
For plastering and mortar, washed river sand is the right answer — the washing removes silt and clay that weaken a mix and make it crack as it dries. It is what we supply as standard.
Tell us the dimensions of the slab, footing or area and how thick you are working. We will work the cubic metres out with you, then add a sensible allowance for spillage so the pour is not left short.
Wherever the site allows. Tell us about access — gate width, slope, soft ground and how far the tipper has to be from the slab — and we will price the load accordingly rather than surprising you on the invoice.
Yes, from 33 Belvedere Road (corner of Rotten Row and Belvedere Road), Harare, Zimbabwe during opening hours. Call ahead so the load is ready. For anything over a few cubics, delivery is usually cheaper than the trips.
